2022 Adventures in Review

What a year!

2022 started off adjusting to my new puppy, Olly, which was a big adjustment after having two senior dogs for the past few years. Quickly, we realized that my sweet Puggle wasn’t going to be with us through the entire year, and I was SO pleased to get to spend lots of time walking her around in our backpack and even taking her with me on a plane to go pick up my teardrop camper.

Buying the teardrop camper was definitely a big highlight of the year – something I had been dreaming of for a long time. It was so clear that the InTech Luna was the right fit for us – and we enjoyed at least 10 camping trips in it after picking her up in April.

We lost my puggle and then Matt’s dog just months apart, which was so tough. We took our mind off of things by traveling with my parents to Mount Rushmore and the Badlands for my birthday, which will always be a memorable trip.

We were able to start fostering dogs again when we just had Olly in the house, and it felt good to give back again. After 3 or 4 months of fostering almost every week, we were given Renn to look after for just a few hours. I realized within minutes that this dog was never going to leave – she was just perfect for Matt and he adopted her in November.

Wow! I can’t wait to see what 2023 brings!
